About Joan
An Acton resident for 33 years prior to moving to neighboring Boxboro in 1999, Joan S. Meyer has been affiliated with Acton Real Estate Co. since 1976. She was the owner of the company from 1980 until 2008.
A multi-million dollar broker for 34 years, she is the recipient of numerous professional designations, Joan is Tech savvy and is connected to many web sites including Plaxo, Facebook and LinkedIn. Her contagious enthusiasm for all things real estate related has led to a long list of referrals, repeat clients and industry and community awards.
She loves reconnecting with past clients and helping them sell their existing home and move to the next, be it upgrading or downsizing, a second home or retirement home.She is now working with the grown children of former clients, helping them find their first and second houses.
Her leisure activities include spending time with her son and his family, as well as bike riding and walking on Goose Rock Beach, Maine. And,of course, eating out anywhere/anytime! In addition, she and her husband love crossing the "pond" to visit their younger child, a daughter, and her family in the UK, London and occasional visits to Scotland.
